Dr. Trunzo, founder and director of Providence Psychology Services, received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Vermont and his postdoctoral fellowship at Brown Medical School.
He has been in private practice since 2002 and has worked in the mental health field since 1989. His clinical and research interests include anxiety and mood disorders, OCD, stress management, coping with chronic and acute illness, and health behavior change.
He practices both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and his main treatment focus is in helping clients increase psychological flexibility to lead rich, full, vital, and values-driven lives.
