Dr. Rothman received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University and completed her pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training in Behavioral Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She has been in practice since 2007.
Dr. Rothman specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She helps clients who are confronting depression, anxiety, life stress, or major life transitions develop the skills necessary to cope with negative and disruptive emotions, and live a life that is more aligned with their values and goals. While she works with adult clients at all stages of life, Dr. Rothman has in recent years developed a professional niche working with college and medical school students.
